Singer Adina Thembi Ndamse, known in showbiz as Adina has revealed that she isn’t a song writer and does not write her songs.
The singer was in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Accra based Hitz fm on Friday when she made this revelation.
As monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, the Makoma hit maker explained that she works together with her song writers to so they bring out the best in songs she brings out. She added that the songs would have to match with the kind of brand she portrays. ‘I am not a song writer, so we always contact people to write songs for me and it’s either we work together or we talk about what the songs should be about.”
Talking about what goes into her songs, she said she has a brand to protect and as such doesn’t put certain words or languages in her songs because of the kind of message she wants to put across and where she looks forward to go as a singer. “There are certain things I wouldn’t put in my songs because of what I represent and where I want to go.”
Adina added that she makes sure her songs send the kind of message it has to send to her fans and listeners and at the end of the day, should be songs that the young and old should be jamming to.
The singer further added that there are amazing musicians she would love to work with, mentioning Stonebwoy, Kojo Antwi, Efya among others.
