Award-winning Ghanaian singer, Adina Thembi known widely as Adina has disclosed why she is capable of being mentor to upcoming musicians.
According to Adina, she has contributed her quota in the Ghanaian music scene and that makes her qualified to be a role model to these musicians.
Adina is currently a part of the judges for TV3’s Mentor Reality Show. Some critics have already called her out for her young career in music and whether she deserves the chance to play that role.
In an interview with Kastle Fm’s Amansan Krakye, the singer sid she has been through those stges coming up as a singer, after winning Stars of the Future and knows how contestants feel during reality shows. She stressed that what the contestants need is someone who understands them and shres the same insight.
“I have paid some dues and I’m continuing to pay but I feel that when it came for some people to be selected as judges they thought about the fact that I have also participated in a singing reality show before which is stars of the future and by the grace of God I won.
All the stages that the contestants are going through is not something new to me because I have been through that before and I know exactly how nervous they can be especially with song choices and how to compose yourself”, she said.
