Abuga Pele is a Ghanaian politician and the former National Coordinator of the defunct Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency.
He was a Member of Parliament for the Chiana/Paga Constituency, Upper East Region, in the Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Parliaments of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.

Career
Pele is an administrator and manager by profession. He also worked in the Internal Revenue Service as an inspector of taxes.
Politics
He was first elected into Parliament during the December 1996 Ghanaian General Elections.
Pele was elected as the member of parliament for the Chiana-Paga constituency of the Upper East Region of Ghana in the 2004 Ghanaian general elections.
In 2012, Abuga Pele contested for the Chiana/Paga seat on the ticket of the NDC in the sixth parliament of the fourth republic and won.
Controversies
The former National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP was sentenced to a six-year imprisonment by an Accra High Court in 2018 for causing financial loss to the state while National Coordinator of the defunct Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency (GYEEDA).
On 3rd July 2021, President Akufo-Addo granted him a presidential pardon .
