Abdul Fatawu Issahaku born ( March 8, 2004 ), is a Ghanaian footballer who plays for Tamale-based lower division side SteadFast FC as an attacking midfielder.
Abdul Fatawu joined Steadfast FC in 2019 from Utrecht Football Academy for a record fee and has since played every single match for the club.
He gained global recognition when he scored a Puskas Award contender in Ghana’s 4-0 win over Tanzania in their opener.
Born in Accra, the diminutive attacking midfielder operates behind the two strikers but can also play across the field.
Abdul Fatawu Issahaku won the best player prize at the 2021 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) in Mauritania, following Ghana’s victory over Uganda in the final at Stade Olympique de Nouakchott Saturday night.

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku appeared with Ghana under-20s in the just ended 2021 FIFA U-20 World Cup, being adjudged the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
The 16-year-old midfielder was singled out as the tournament’s poster boy with his impressive performance.
He scored two goals, including a monstrous center-to-goal in Ghana’s opening game against Tanzania.
