37-year-old Devon Trotter shot & killed in Winton Hills shooting

One person has died and another was taken to the hospital after an overnight shooting in Winton Hills Saturday.

It happened around 1:15 a.m. when Cincinnati officers responded to the 100 block of Craft Street for a report of a person shot.

When they got to the scene, they found two men suffering from a gunshot wounds.

The Cincinnati Fire Department responded and attempted life saving measures. The first victim was determined to be dead at the scene. He has been identified as 37-year-old Devon Trotter.

The second victim was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

When they got there, troopers determined that 18-year-old Kenneth Miller of Vine Grove was driving north on KY-333 when, for unknown reasons, he lost control, crossed the center line and into the path of a pickup truck.
