Ghanaian singer, Nina Ricchie has revealed that she is not interested in getting married.
According to the singer, she was to live an independent life and getting married will really restrict her in that line.
Speaking in an interview on SVTV Africa, Nina explained that if she gets married she can never have fun outside the relationship and that bothers her.
“Charley I am good, I don’t wanna get married, I’m scared of marriage to be honest. It really scares me. I like to be free and my partner also wants to be free, because if I wanna have fun with somebody else he is not going to agree to that, so no I’m not getting married,” she said.
Nina further disclosed that her current partner who she said was in his 40s was a divorcee and would not want to get married.She said: “I really like to be free and I don’t wanna feel like marriage is a prison, so I’m not ready for that and my man is an older guy so I don’t think he will do it.
Touching on her previous relationships, Nina stated that: “Any guy I date, they regret leaving me because they see me making moves. I bought my first house at 27 in Canada and my ex is like Nina,she is really trying oo” adding “my ex still calls me that he wants to marry me but I tell them I’m fine.”
Everyone is different, and there are some very good reasons for not wanting to be with anyone especially in the rightful thinking of Nina Ricchie of Black Avenue Muzik fame. Interestingly, Nina,despite her disinterest in marriage, wants to give have two kids in addition to one she already has.
